
Nancy Durall
Host Studio Director and Teacher
INancy Durall is the Artistic Director of Kentucky Repertory Dance Theatre, and graciously opens her school to act as the host studio for IBSI.
In 1996, Ms. Durall began her ballet training with Sue Champion, founder of Kentucky Repertory Dance Theatre. With Sue and KRDT, she traveled to Moscow, Russia, performing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in churches, grand community meeting halls, hospitals, and schools. Ms. Durall then became the artistic director of KRDT.
Ms. Durall has attended dance intensives and dance teacher training with Ballet Magnificat!, Hosanna Sacred Arts Dance Festival, Ad Deum Dance, Ballet 5/8, Dancers’ Studio, and with Lisa Howell, a physiotherapist in dance health training.
As certified Body Recall instructor for over 18 years, she teaches a conditioning class for senior adults in addition to ballet classes for all ages.
For over 30 years Nancy has worked in the medical field as Registered/Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist treating patients/clients in hospitals, extended care and fitness facilities, and private practice as manager and healthcare provider. With her knowledge and experience in anatomy, fitness, injury recovery, and nutrition, Nancy endeavors to enrich the lives of KRDT dancers as she prays for them and seeks God’s best for them. Along with the other teachers, Ms. Durall directs two stage productions per year. KRDT also shares the joyful art of dance in extended care facilities, churches, and schools, including Iasasthai Ballet Summer Intensive.
